The architecture of each of the spectacular four On Houses, Weligama, is based on the Shela Beach House in Lamu, Kenya, and designed by the same architect, Leslie Duckworth, in conjunction with Muditha Prematilaka, a talented young Sri Lankan architect. Each ON House is built into the hillside of a stunning natural site – with uninterrupted views of a secluded palm-fringed cove, a golden sandy beach and the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Each ON House is hallmarked by meticulous attention to detail, with stunning custom-crafted interiors and wide south-facing vistas to the ocean. Distinguished from other luxury villas, the On Houses, Weligama, are set in generous gardens, with mature trees and spectacular natural landscaping.
